Face Reading (personology) is the study of the structure of the composed face – not reading expressions, but reading the structure, lines and features. I prefer modern face reading to the traditional Chinese face reading, although they both have similar meanings; they are presented in different ways.
A fascinating subject, and no matter where I go people do one of two things.. they cover their face and say “don’t read my face” or lean in and say “what does my face say?” I use it in my work to analyse patients and customers, clients for coaching and also potential employees. Analysis of the face is very accurate and I haven’t met anyone yet who doesn’t like someone to tell them about themselves…
My favourite use of face reading is when a client books a Face Reading Party. They gather about 12 – 14 people and I do a small presentation about face reading using the various faces in the room to demonstrate the traits and meanings. I use a lot of humour and it can get quite hilarious and raucous – and I end the session with a 5 min personal face reading for each attendee. Men and women enjoy this, and often they come along to the Face Reading classes that I run to learn how to do this amazing thing!
Every face is different, even those of identical twins can differ considerably. I did a face reading party for some twins recently, and they were delighted to have the differences noted and explained! It was very cathartic for them!
I offer Face Reading for pre-operative clients who are considering plastic surgery, explaining their pre-operative state and their post operative changes to the mind and body.. so they can make an informed choice. This is very satisfying. Anyone who has worked in plastics in hospitals will know the impact on facial surgery for correction of malformations, can be quite challenging to the patients who go from deformed to normal looking.
Plastic surgery for enhancements has its challenges too. If you change a trait on your face – it will have a corresponding change in the personality or behaviour that new trait exhibits. Fascinating!
